Stoop Mug in Sea

A mug inspired by a stylish stoop. As I walked the small walled cities of Morocco, the stoops were a treat for the eye. Each one was tiled and painted to set the mood for entering the historic homes. I’m very pleased with how these stoops influenced this pattern. I’ve recreated this pattern in multiple colorways all inspired by the colors of Morocco. This design was an intense undertaking but the outcome is magical.

This particular colorway has a mismatched pattern. Same same, but different.

Measures approximately 4 inches by 5 inches (with handle). Holds approx. 12 ounces. Food & microwave safe. Hand wash preferred (this will lengthen the life of your mug). All mugs are similar but slight variations will occur.

Thoughts on perfect pots… While I strive for quality craftsmanship in my work, there are small imperfections present in all of my pots. Instead of seeing these as a blemish on the pot, I see them as the soul of the work. My pieces aren’t stamped out in a factory but rather slowly and intentionally crafted in my studio. The evidence of human touch is what makes them special. The imperfections become a small moment of connection between the maker and the owner.
